Thank you for the feedback! It was my first time doing a podcast and I’m sure I rambled a little more than I should have - but it was a lot of fun! :D

- Bolin: If only you knew how mean Mako really is... You know that I'm not allowed to wear red scarves, right? Yeah! When we were kids, Mako told me red scarves were HIS thing and I wasn't allowed to wear them anymore. And then for Fire Nation Liberation Day our parents got me this really expensive red scarf and I had to pretend like I didn't even like it and... it was so sad. And you know he cheats on Asami? Yes, every Thursday she thinks he's at pro-bending training but really he's hooking up with Korra in the locker room behind the gym! I never told anybody that because I am SUCH a good brother!

I do feel overwhelmed sometimes, trust me. And usually that’s when I stay up until 3 AM reading Supernatural fanfiction.
It takes a lot of energy, but I’m not a person who’s good at wasting time. I always need to constantly be doing something productive, otherwise I get in a really bad mood. 8D
1. Have an eye-catching or interesting costume.
2. Be friendly and comfortable in front of a camera.
3. Don’t fangirl at him obnoxiously, it freaks him out.
Mostly it’s just luck and a matter of being in the right place at the right time. He usually hangs out in high-traffic areas of the con to snag the cosplays that he thinks will be interesting to watch in the video. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s only picking mechas and plugsuits; if it’s funny or popular he’ll go for them too.
Really the biggest thing is to not stalk him the entire con begging him to be in the video. That’s a sure-fire way to not get in it.
I usually just pick the one that I think would be the most fun to make, or the design that appeals to me most in terms of style.
But for Nightwing: do the finger stripes. Seriously.
We go to a con about every two months, but summer is our busiest time of the year because that’s “con season.” Then things really slow down during the winter. But I’d say we go to around 8-10 cons a year? It varies every year, and only 3 or 4 of those are “major” conventions like Youmacon.
Ahh, thank you so much!! ColossalCon can be a little expensive due to the price of the hotel, but it includes water park passes. Food is also pretty expensive there because it’s a resort. But honestly, my friends and I didn’t even bother with going to the actual con so we saved money from buying badges - just hanging out in the resort area was fun enough~!
Anyone but Lagoon Boy.
